Lepage took over the ride five races ago after the team's original driver, Robby Gordon, was released following Darlington. Lepage started the next week at Bristol and has been with the team on an interim basis since.
The contract signing was announced at Lowe's Motor Speedway during an open test session for Winston Cup and Busch Series teams.
"We had our trial run and liked each other enough to ink a contract," Lepage said. "All of the people over at Morgan-McClure are a great bunch.
"We have found out that we are going to experience some miscues. Larry (McClure) and I talked it over and we are going to build for next year."
One of those miscues was the team's failure to qualify for the recent Winston Cup race in California. It was the first time in 408 races they failed to make the starting field.
Lepage, with 100 career series starts, has posted three top-20 finishes in five races since Bristol. Prior to his coming on board, the team had one this year. Larry McClure liked what he saw in the Shelburne, Vt., driver and decided to sign him.
"Lepage is a consistent driver," McClure said. "He has been around NASCAR for a long time. He knows the ins and outs of the sport. His workable knowledge of a race car is a key factor in communicating to the team."
