CLERMONT, Ill. -- Greg Biffle won the Bud Pole Award for the Kroger 200 at Indianapolis Raceway Park on Saturday, beating Jason Keller at the .686-mile oval.
Biffle, the current point leader with three wins, recorded his third pole of the year in the No. 60 Grainger Ford and fifth of his career.
He was third-fastest in practice and was the second-last car to go out. Keller was fastest in practice and had a qualifying time of 109.224 mph to start outside of Biffle.
Keller has one pole and two victories at the historic short track.
Behind them in the second row will be Stacy Compton in third, with Ashton Lewis Jr. in fourth.
Rounding out the top 10 starting positions will be Scott Riggs, Jon Wood, Kenny Wallace, Tim Sauter, Shane Hmiel and Kasey Kahne.
Jon Wood, driving the No. 9 Ford normally driven by Jeff Burton, will make his first career Busch start.
