HOMESTEAD, Fla. -- Less than two days after he accepted his accolades as the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion, Mike Bliss turned his first laps in a Joe Gibbs Racing Busch Series car on Monday.
Gibbs Racing participated in the two-day General Motors Racing session at Homestead-Miami Speedway shaking down 2003 Chevrolet and Pontiac models for next season.
In previous weeks Bliss had been coy about his future plans, but it is expected he will be announced as the driver of Gibbs' Rockwell Automation sponsored cars.
