The Buzz: Wallace dismisses Dodge rumors

SONOMA, Calif. -- Rusty Wallace has dismissed talk that Penske Racing will switch to Dodge for the 2003 Winston Cup season.

"There is nothing to that at all," Wallace said. "We have so much time invested in what we are doing. We are not changing."

Wallace has driven for Penske for nearly 12 years and has 36 career wins with the program.

Penske Racing has been one of Ford's flagship teams since 1994, when they switched to Ford from Pontiac.

Wallace will start eighth in Sunday's Dodge/Save Mart 350 at Sears Point, where he has two career wins.
