The Buzz: McMurray to run Cup at Talladega

The Buzz has learned that NASCAR Busch Series driver Jamie McMurray will make his Winston Cup debut in a third Chip Ganassi Racing Dodge in next Sunday's EA Sports 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.

McMurray is scheduled to move to the Winston Cup Series full-time in 2003, driving a Havoline-sponsored car for Ganassi with a car number that will not be determined until after this season, when NASCAR decides what to do with the No. 28 currently being run in Havoline colors by Robert Yates Racing.

After finishing 10th in Saturday's Mr. Goodcents 300 at Kansas Speedway, McMurray is a career best eighth in the Busch Series standings, while still seeking his first victory in the division.
