Kevin Grubb, who took over the ride at the Las Vegas race, suffered a hard hit at the Dover event last month and was still experiencing dizzy spells while practicing at Kansas Speedway last week.
During that session he brushed the wall and was taken to the infield care center where it was determined that Grubb should sit the weekend's events out. Tim Fedewa took over for Grubb after the green flag. Grubb has two top-five and six top-10 finishes this year and is 24th in points.
Nadeau, who also drives the No. 44 Dodge for Petty Enterprises in the Winston Cup Series, was tapped to drive because it was announced earlier this week that Fedewa will take over the No. 92 Chevrolet of Herzog Jackson Motorsports after driver Todd Bodine and the team parted ways.
