FORT WORTH, Texas -- Jason Leffler won his third Bud Pole Award of the season Thursday by clocking the fastest lap in qualifying for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series O'Reilly 400 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Points leader David Starr qualified second, followed by Robert Pressley, Ted Musgrave and Coy Gibbs, respectively.

Leffler, who also qualified fastest for the Craftsman Anniversary 200 and the Rocky Mountain 200 earlier in the season, ran a lap at 180.517 mph in his No. 2 Team ASE Racing/Carquest Dodge

Travis Kvapil, Bill Lester, Matt Crafton, Rick Crawford and Brendan Gaughan will round out the top 10.

Friday's race at the 1.5-mile quad-oval in Fort Worth, Texas, will begin at 9 p.m. ET and can be seen live on ESPN.

Only 35 drivers attempted to qualify for the race, one short of the 36-driver NCTS limit. Tom Powers, Jason White and Wayne Edwards will use provisionals in spots 33-35.
