The clothing company had been with Countryman-Ballew Motorsports on the No. 15 Ford driven by Rich Bickle. When the financial end of the deal fell apart last week with Dickies, Preston Countryman and Billy Ballew dissolved the partnership and it was renamed Ballew Motorsports.
"We are extremely impressed with the quality of the Bobby Hamilton Racing organization and the depth of their commitment to motorsports," said John Ragsdale, vice president of marketing for Williamson-Dickie. "This is a tremendous opportunity for Dickies to finish the season on top with a partner that is as successful in their category as we are in ours."
Last week, BHR signed on Square D as a major associate sponsor and the No. 18 Dodge will be referred to as the Dickies/Square D Dodge for the remainder of this season. The Dickies logo will appear on the rear quarter panels, tailgate TV panel and the rear deck area with the Square D logo on the hood.
"This is the final piece of the puzzle," said Bobby Hamilton, team owner. "We're very excited about the future and what our two companies can do together. Everyone at Dodge and Square D is fired up about Dickies joining our family.
"Now we just have to go out and give them a good show this weekend."
