AVONDALE, Ariz. -- Figuring Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, Jason Leffler and Ryan Newman couldn't be wrong, California Sprint Car standout Cory Kruseman will make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut this weekend at Phoenix International Raceway.

Kruseman, 32, the 2001 Sprint Car Racing Association champion from Ventura, Calif., will warm-up for his weekend's other main event -- on a nearby dirt track -- by running Friday afternoon's Chevy Silverado 150 at PIR in a No. 98 Menards/Agromin Chevrolet.

He will race as a teammate to SealMaster Racing's primary driver, former Featherlite Southwest Series, NASCAR Touring champion Matt Crafton. Saturday night he is racing in a SCRA event at Manzanita Speedway in Phoenix, attempting to raise his total of 52 career SCRA wins since 1994.
