HAMPTON, Ga. - Brett Bodine will carry the familiar colors of the Hooters restaurant chain on the rear of his Ford in Sunday’s MBNA America 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, a one-race sponsorship that could be extended.

Bodine met with Hooters CEO Bob Brooks Thursday to discuss future options.

Hooters, who sponsored 1992 NASCAR Winston Cup champion Alan Kulwicki in the early 1990s, made a return to the racetrack during Speedweeks at Daytona when they donned the hood of Kirk Shelmerdine’s Ford.

Bodine starts 42nd Sunday.
