INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Coors Brewing Company has re-signed with Chip Ganassi Racing for three more years, the team announced Friday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

"We are excited to extend our successful partnership with Coors Brewing Company," team owner Chip Ganassi said. "We exist to win races and add value to our sponsors' investments."

Coors has been a NASCAR sponsor for 20 years. Their relationship with NASCAR began in 1983, when they graced the hood of Bill Elliott's No. 9 Ford. Since then, they've partnered with Roush Racing, Team SABCO and Ganassi.

Coors' current driver, Sterling Marlin, currently leads the Winston Cup Series championship points race.
