Lepage to sub for Cope at New Hampshire

CONCORD, N.C. -- Kevin Lepage has been named to drive for injured Derrike Cope in Sunday's New Hampshire 300, it was announced Tuesday.

It's a one-race deal for Lepage in the No. 37 Ford, which will debut Friendly's Ice Cream Restaurants as its new sponsor.

Lepage drove in 29 Winston Cup races in 2001, with one top-10 finish. He's currently 25th in Busch Series points in 2002.

Cope, who has made four Winston Cup starts this season, suffered a broken shoulder and ankle when the throttle stuck on his car during last weekend's Funai 250 at Richmond International Raceway.
