AVONDALE, Ariz. -- You can add Jack Sprague's name to the Winston Cup Series rookie of the year contenders next year. His sponsor NetZero is going with him.

Sprague, the only three-time champion in the Craftsman Truck Series, has competed in the Busch Series this year for Rick Hendrick Motorsports. Next year, Sprague will drive the No. 60 Chevrolet for Haas CNC Racing.

He's already attempted a handful of Winston Cup races this year. Sprague will attempt the race at Miami-Homestead Speedway next week, as well.

The newly formed Haas team will work in conjunction with Hendrick to field cars for the new team and Sprague providing technical assistance.

"Hendrick Motorsports has been so good to me over the years and Rick Hendrick has graciously agreed to continue to assist my career and the efforts of Haas CNC Racing," Sprague said. "Having that kind of support is sure to make us better right off the truck when we debut the NetZero Winston Cup effort at Miami later this season."

NetZero first came on board with Sprague in 2000 and was rewarded with a NCTS championship. They also moved with him to the Busch Series for the 2002 campaign before making the step to Winston Cup Series competition.
