THE RACE TRACK:

Lowe's Motor Speedway is a charter member of the NASCAR Busch Series and has hosted two races a year since the formation of the series in 1982. The track is a 1.5-mile oval with 24-degree banking in the corners and 5 degrees of banking on the straightaways. The frontstretch is 1,952.8 feet in length and the backstretch length is 1,360 feet.
