THE RACE TRACK:

Lowe's Motor Speedway, a 1.5-mile high-banked asphalt quad-oval, is a charter member of the NASCAR Busch Series and has hosted two races a year since the formation of the series in 1982. The track has 24-degree banking in Turns 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and five-degree banking on the straightaways. The frontstretch is 1,952.8 feet long and the backstretch is 1,360 feet long.
