BRISTOL, Tenn. -- When it comes to qualifying, David Green still knows the fastest way around the track.

Green broke the Busch Series qualifying record Friday with a lap of 126.495 mph around the half-mile Bristol Motor Speedway oval, earning him his second Bud Pole of the season.

In fact, discounting rainouts at Las Vegas and Darlington that set the race lineup by last year's owners points, Green has earned consecutive poles.

Jason Keller, Tony Raines, Scott Riggs and Jamie McMurray rounded out the top five for Saturday's Channellock 250.
