CONCORD, N.C. -- Sources close to Dale Earnhardt, Inc. said Wednesday that Hank Parker Jr. has been signed to drive the Chance 2 Chevrolet, co-owned by Teresa Earnhardt and Dale Earnhard, Jr., in three races during the 2003 Busch Series season, starting next weekend at Lowe's Motor Speedway.

Along with Charlotte, sources said Parker will pilot the Chance 2 machine at Kansas and Atlanta, races slated for driver Steve Park before he was fired from DEI last week.

Parker's car will carry a Cheese Nips paint scheme at Charlotte.

Parker was testing Kentucky Speedway for Evernham Motorsports Wednesday and unavailable for comment.
