DOVER, Del. -- Pole-sitter Joe Nemechek got his third Busch Series win of the year by surviving a wild MBNA Armed Forces Family 200 at Dover International Speedway.
Scott Riggs finished second for the third time this year while David Green finished third.
The wildness started on lap 156 when Matt Kenseth spun his tires leading a restart, collecting eight cars in the fracas. Kenseth spun again a few laps later before Martin Truex Jr. spun his car with six laps remaining, focing Nemechek to win a three-lap shootout to the checkers.
Nemechek is the first Busch Series driver to win from the pole since Morgan Shepard won from the top spot in 1986. It's also Nemechek's 15th career Busch Series victory.
