WEST ALLIS, Wis. -- Sunday's GNC 250 will be the Busch Series' 17th race in the 2003 campaign, which is the series' 22nd year of existence -- marking the halfway point in the 34-race season.

1 -- The position in the Busch Series owner points for Richard Childress Racing, which is using Winston Cup driver Kevin Harvick and Busch regular Johnny Sauter to split this season.

2 -- The number of consecutive DNFs for first year Busch Series full-timer Mike Bliss, who dropped from fourth to eight in the standings on account of those setbacks.

3 -- The position in the standings for Todd Bodine, who is competing full-time in both the Busch Series and Winston Cup Series this season.

3 -- The leading number of Busch Series wins and Bud Poles this season, by Winston Cup regular Joe Nemechek.

5 -- The number of top-10 finishes in the last six races by Brian Vickers, which has allowed the GMAC Chevrolet to move into sixth in the standings.

6 -- The most first-time winners in one Busch Series season, in 2002 when Bobby Hamilton Jr., Jamie McMurray, Scott Riggs, Johnny Sauter, Jack Sprague and Scott Wimmer all won.

7 -- The leading number of top-five finishes after 16 races, by point leader David Green and second place Scott Riggs.

9 -- The number of victories in 16 races by Chevrolet, which leads the Bill France Performance Cup standings for Busch Series manufacturers with 116 points, to 98 for Ford.
