JOLIET, Ill. -- Todd Bodine will keep his Busch Series championship hopes alive by driving the No. 7 Evans Motorsports Chevrolet in Saturday's Tropicana Twister 300 at Chicagoland Speedway.

Bodine replaces Joe Nemechek in the car, while Nemechek bumps Greg Biffle out of the No. 88, a team car to the No. 7. Biffle, who qualified the No. 88 NEMCO Motorsports Chevrolet in the 12th position, withdrew from the event.

Bodine led the Busch Series points standings after eight of the 18 races this season, but his Herzog-Jackson Motorsports team skipped the Chicago race because of a lack of sponsorship.

Bodine is fourth in the points, 43 behind leader Scott Riggs. Nemechek qualified the No. 7 in the 10th position, but Bodine and Nemechek will both have to drop to the rear of the field.

The No. 96 ORTEC Racing team also made a driver change, with Josh Richeson replacing the ailing Gus Wasson. Wasson smacked the wall during practice Friday and was taken to a local hospital and later released.
