Jamie McMurray: New England 200 preview

From Team Press Release July 17, 2003
12:17 PM EDT (1617 GMT)

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- In racing everyone who participates receives something positive. It may be the thrill of speed for a driver, the excitement of competition for a crew member, or the positive return on investment and customer awareness for a sponsor.

This is precisely the case for Yellow Transportation. One of the ways Yellow utilizes its racing program is through hospitality events, such as the one taking place this weekend at New Hampshire International Raceway. This weekend is a little different though, because nearly 70 of the guests attending are from Canada.

Yellow prides itself on making cross-border shipping more convenient, simple and efficient. It has 17 service centers in Canada that reach 85 percent of the population. In honor of its Canadian guests, Yellow will place a special decal on the C-post of the No. 1 Dodge.

When the No. 1Yellow Transportation Dodge makes a pit stop, the crew goes to work without delay. Their crew members' proficiency and expertise assure a high quality performance. Yellow makes the same promise with its cross-border shipping.

"I learn more and more about Yellow as the season goes on," said driver Jamie McMurray. "As I have the opportunity to meet customers and employees of Yellow, I am always proud to see how happy they all are to be affiliated with Yellow. It's a truly amazing company that takes pride in the quality and variety of their services. My goal this weekend is to end up in victory lane for all of the Yellow employees and all of the special guests that will be there this weekend."
