Biffle battles to win "Little Trees" 300

CONCORD, N.C. -- Greg Biffle led 118 of the 200 laps Saturday, pulling away from Michael Waltrip for the win in the rain-delayed "Little Trees" 300 at Lowe's Motor Speedway.

The race, originally scheduled for Friday night, was postponed because of rain, then started under caution because of a wet track. But once the race began, the skies lightened noticeably, with the sun even poking out from behind the clouds at one point.

Biffle beat Waltrip by more than 12 seconds for his first Busch Series win since the 2002 Kroger 200 at Indianapolis Raceway Park. Only eight cars were on the lead lap at the end of the race.
