Aube to drive at Charlotte for Team Racing

CONCORD, N.C. -- Team Racing announced today the hire of Jamie Aube to drive the No. 25 Chevrolet Silverado at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Friday's Hardee's 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event.

The signing of Aube will include primary sponsorship by Alpha Canvas and Awning for a one-race agreement. Alpha Canvas and Awning had recently signed as associate sponsor on the Nos. 23, 25 and 86 Chevrolet Silverados of Team Racing.

Aube tested with Team Racing last week at Lowe's Motor Speedway and turned an unofficial lap of 32.9 sec. around the 1.5-mile facility. The North Ferrisburg, Vt. native has competed in several NASCAR Busch Series events from 1990 through 1998.

Team Racing competes in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with drivers Phil Bonifield (No. 23 Red Line Synthetic Oil Chevrolet Silverado), Jamie Aube (No. 25 Alpha Canvas and Awning Chevrolet Silverado) and Dana White (No. 86 White Guard Kennels Chevrolet Silverado).

Bonifield competes in the NASCAR Busch Series for Team Racing in the No. 90 Red Line Synthetic Oil Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
