Roush Racing took a big hit this week when the Navy withdrew its sponsorship of the No. 50 Ford Jon Wood drives in NASCAR's Truck Series.

Roush also fields an unsponsored truck for rookie Carl Edwards and team general manager Geoff Smith doesn't think the organization can go the entire season with two unsponsored trucks.

"We're going to kind of go on a day-by-day basis," Smith said. "If we have a good prospect and have relative confidence something can be worked out, that will of course determine our course of action."

The Navy is believed to be looking at sponsoring another team, possibly in the Busch Series.

Its decision to leave Roush came the same week the organization inked an extension with DeWalt, primary sponsor of Matt Kenseth's Winston Cup car.
