HOMESTEAD, Fla. -- While Bobby Hamilton won Friday's Ford 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series title race was still undecided even after the race was over.
After Brendan Gaughan's crash left the championship up for grabs between Ted Musgrave, Travis Kvapil and Dennis Setzer, a controversial restart left NASCAR officials scrambling to determine if penalties would be assessed against Musgrave which would hand the title to Kvapil.
It was determined that Musgrave did indeed pass before the restart, handing the championship to Kvapil by the narrowest of margins.
