DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Super Bowl champion and Florida native Warren Sapp, one of the finest defensive lineman to ever play in the National Football League and supermodel Angie Everhart, who has appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated, Glamour and Time magazines will add "Grand Marshal" to their list of distinguished accomplishments as both will serve as Grand Marshals for Daytona International Speedway's 4th of July Weekend extravaganza, the NASCAR Winston Cup Series Pepsi 400.
In addition, RCA recording artist Sara Evans, whose single "Born to Fly" propelled her to the top of the Country Music Charts and garnered rave reviews in Rolling Stone Magazine and the Los Angeles Times, will perform a pre-race concert on the superspeedway's frontstretch and will also sing the National Anthem at the Pepsi 400 before a national television audience and thousands of race fans.
"Having Warren, Angie and Sara as part of our exciting weekend at the "World Center of Racing" proves once again Daytona and Pepsi are committed to putting on a spectacular show," said DIS President Robin Braig. "We are thrilled to have them on site to help us celebrate our 45th annual event."
