Johnson: "NASCAR rescheduled qualifying for tomorrow, but it's supposed to rain all week. So hopefully the rain will hold off and we can get it in."
5:30 p.m. -- Went for dinner
7:30 p.m. -- Returned to the condo
8 p.m. -- Arrived at the condo and relaxed for a bit
8:30 p.m. -- Went out to a couple of places with Casey Mears
11 p.m. -- Bedtime
Johnson: "A rainy day in Daytona means that you try and find things to do away from the track. The thing that I learned last season, you don't want to do a lot of things, because you have to pace yourself and not over commit and wear yourself down.
"So, it was nice to get a break, but at this point in the season, I really didn't need one. I would have preferred a rain delay during the 20-week stretch."
