"It's just great to be able to walk around," said Bodine, who crashed Saturday after being knocked unconscious during practice. "I got banged around pretty good, but it could have been worse."

Earlier this week, Hooters said it would not sponsor Brett Bodine Racing after Sunday's race.

"We're working on some deals," said Bodine, the only owner-driver in the Winston Cup Series. "Hopefully, we'll get something buttoned up this week."

He was replaced by brother Geoffrey Bodine, who crashed on Lap 42 of the 200-lap race.

"I'm gonna take (Brett) home with me," Geoffrey Bodine said. "He probably won't get much sleep. When he was little, I used to stay up with him and change his diapers and all that stuff. I might have to do it again."
