A list of some on-track incidents involving Kevin Harvick:
Race: 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo 400
Venue: Richmond International Raceway
RICHMOND, Va. -- Kevin Harvick bumps Ricky Rudd on his way to the front, but Rudd returns the favor with five laps to go to win the race.

"He sort of gave me a cheap shot early on," Rudd said. "If you're going to hit somebody and go on, go on, but don't just sit there and ride their bumper."
"I didn't plan on hitting him at all," Harvick said. "When you get into somebody that late in the race on a short track, you've got to expect a little bit in return.
"I was the first one over to congratulate him. He did what he had to do to win the race. It's great when you can race with people. I'm just glad I didn't take him out because I didn't mean to do it."

Race: 2002 Channellock 250
Venue: Bristol Motor Speedway
BRISTOL, Tenn. -- Greg Biffle sends Harvick hard into the wall, destroying a new race car.
Harvick then went nose-to-nose with Biffle after the race was over.

"I always said Greg Biffle was a good guy but he's about the most impatient thing," Harvick said. "I let Greg Biffle get away with some stuff earlier last year. He comes and just rams me in the ass. There's no way I'm leaving this race track without telling somebody that just intentionally put me into the fence and tried to knock me out of the way how I feel.
"Biffle's an idiot. That's all you've got to say."
"He just got loose up off and he had to check out of the throttle," Biffle said. "It's Bristol. That's just racing, you know.
"I didn't do it on purpose. I just feel bad. I'd never spin Kevin out on purpose."

Race: 2002 Advance Auto Parts 250
Venue: Martinsville Speedway
MARTINSVILLE, Va. -- Kevin Harvick was ordered to the garage by NASCAR after it was thought he was going to retaliate toward Coy Gibbs for earlier incidents. Harvick ended up with a 29th place finish.
Officials claimed they heard Harvick on the radio before the incident say he would retaliate.

"I think that's a bunch of B.S.," Harvick said. "I didn't say anything on the radio. I just asked if he'd let us go by."
NASCAR officials then "parked" Harvick for the Winston Cup race on Sunday.
"NASCAR had to do something in response to Kevin's actions during the Truck race yesterday, but I think their response was completely wrong," Childress said. "NASCAR should keep the actions and punishments separate to each series.
"This should be Kevin's punishment only, but what NASCAR is doing is punishing the tens of thousands of race fans who probably didn't know until they got to the track this morning that Kevin won't be allowed to race today.
NASCAR is also punishing the entire No. 29 team and all of Richard Childress Racing for one person's actions."

"If Robby was as fast under green as he was under caution that one time, he'd win a lot of these things," Jeff Gordon said. "Anybody who races back under caution like that, I don't know where his mind is at. He did a great job. He won the race fair and square, except for that move right there."
"Good, hard racing except for that chicken move under caution," Harvick said.

Race: 2003 Pontiac Excitement 400
Venue: Richmond International Raceway
RICHMOND, Va. -- Jeff Green was running fifth when Ryan Newman and Ward Burton got together in front of him. In an evasive effort, Green dove to the low groove in front of Harvick, who hit him in the rear end and turned him around into the Turn 2 wall.
"It's one thing to get spun out. It's another thing to get spun out by your teammate," Green said. "Can't hardly swallow that. Tough to be teammates when it seems like there's only one car at RCR."
Harvick went on to finish sixth, but wouldn't offer comment following the race.

Race: 2003 Sirius at the Glen
Venue: Watkins Glen International
WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. -- Jeff Gordon ran out of gas in the final corner and was hit from behind by Kevin Harvick coming to the checkered. Instead of finishing third, he wound up 33rd.
"The 29 got to the outside of me, and I'm just trying to coast back to the line, and he thinks I'm racing for position and just wrecks me," Gordon said. "It sucks that I ran out of fuel and the car stopped, but all he had to do was drive right by me. It's pretty simple."
Well, no it wasn't, Harvick said.
"You're coming to the checkered, and he runs out of gas," a weary Harvick said. "I got into the back of him, and then he's zigging and zagging. I gassed it up again and spun him out. Not much I could do about it.
"Usually, when you're out of gas, you get out of the racing groove."

Race: 2003 Chevy Rock & Roll 400
Venue: Richmond International Raceway
RICHMOND, Va. -- A post-race skirmish between Ricky Rudd and Kevin Harvick Saturday night at Richmond International Raceway resulted in a tongue-lashing from the sanctioning body for both teams' entire pit crews, and will likely bring penalties in the coming week.
Rudd got into Harvick entering Turn 1 with eight laps remaining in the Chevy Rock & Roll 400, sending Harvick, who was well on his way to a fourth-consecutive top-five, into the outside wall.

Harvick was furious and made his frustration known by driving his car onto pit road and rubbing it against Rudd's, which was stopped on pit road.
I can't help but be angry," Harvick said. "We are running for the championship this year and I thought we had another second (place finish) locked up. We got spun out by (Rudd) going into Turn 1 and he took us out. That was pure adrenaline out there on pit road. I was hot and I wanted Ricky to know that."
On Monday, Harvick was fined $35,000 and placed on probation until the end of the calendar year.
