LOUDON, N.H. -- New Hampshire International Speedway staged its first NASCAR Winston Cup race in July 1993, the Slick 50 300, which was won by Rusty Wallace.

Since then, the track has expanded its Winston Cup schedule to two races a season. Here are some facts about NHIS:

  • 0 -- The number of top-five finishes in 26 races this season by Sterling Marlin and Ward Burton, who at 17th and 19th in the standings are the only drivers in the top-20 without a top-five.
  • 1 -- The number of top-10 finishes in the last eight races by defending Winston Cup champion Tony Stewart, who has led 315 laps in eight career starts at NHIS.
  • 1.058 -- The length of a lap, in miles, of New Hampshire International Speedway.
