ROCKINGHAM, N.C. -- A pair of NASCAR Winston Cup champions of a similar demeanor will be honored prior to Sunday's Pop Secret Microwave Popcorn 400 at North Carolina Speedway.
The latest chapter in NASCAR's "Victory Lap" tribute to 33-year series sponsor R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and the champions of that era cites Benny Parsons at the track where he clinched his 1973 crown; and at the venue where 2000 champion Bobby Labonte has won both a race and a Bud Pole Award.

Parsons, who is being honored as a retired champion, has transferred his experience behind the wheel into a career as a radio and television personality.
Labonte, whose older brother Terry is a two-time Winston Cup champion, has a career that continues to flourish as he is locked into the top-10 in the Winston Cup standings this season.
