By Van Cox, Special to Turner Sports Interactive July 26, 2004 10:20 AM EDT (14:20 GMT) Add country music superstar LeAnn Rimes to the list of recording artists to be showcased in September's Chevy Rock & Roll 400 weekend at Richmond International Raceway. Rimes' image will grace the No. 99 Aaron's Dream Machine Chevrolet Monte Carlo owned and driven by two-time Daytona 500 winner Michael Waltrip in the 250-mile NASCAR Busch Series race at on the .75-mile race track on Friday night, September 10. "LeAnn Rimes can really sing," said Waltrip. "We just hope the car will be singing as pretty as she does on that night, and we can get a win at Richmond. We've had a lot of success there in the past. We've sat on the pole and run up front. We think we have a car that can win, and with that special paint scheme, that's about as good as it gets for a race car driver. This is a beautiful race car, as you would expect, because LeAnn is beautiful. This program provides Aaron's some added exposure. Aaron's has recognized the marketability of deals like this, and they've given us the opportunity to do really neat things with some great people, like we did with Arnold Swarzenegger and the Terminator 3 movie." | | STORE | |
