Chase brings in new wave of collectibles

The field is set. No more second guessing. No more "what ifs." No more calculating what kind of a finish it'll take to make the cut. It's done. T minus 10 and counting.

Let The Chase begin... And with it, the collecting.

The first-ever Chase for The NASCAR Nextel Cup will provide a windfall for vendors and an abundance of souvenirs and collectibles for race fans.

The NASCAR.COM SuperStore is already stocking up for The Chase. As previously reported, our on line souvenir shop has more than a half-dozen Chase-themed hats and shirts from Chase Authentics and Checkered Flag Sports. Here is a look at some of the newest items to hit the shelves:

  • Chase Authentics Chase For The Cup Driver-Specific Caps: These caps have the NASCAR Nextel Cup logo and "Chase for the Nextel Cup" graphic embroidered at the crown, along with driver's car number and replica signature embroidered at the left side. Available drivers include the entire top 10: Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Elliott Sadler, Matt Kenseth, Tony Stewart, Mark Martin, Kurt Busch, Jeremy Mayfield and Ryan Newman.

  • Chase Authentics Chase For The Cup Contender Tee-shirts: The NASCAR Nextel Cup logo and 2004 Inaugural Chase for the Cup graphics are complemented by the driver's replica signature and car number screen-printed at the chest. Sirts are available for the entire top 10.

  • Chase Authentics Chase For The Cup Longsleeve Tee-shirts: A unique design punctuates this jersey-style shirt. All original artwork adorns the chest area, along with the driver's name and car number, as well as the traditional series and "Chase logos. Earnhardt Jr., Gordon, Johnson and Stewart are already available, with more on the way.

  • Chase Authentics Chase Fof The Cup Top 10 Tee: The chect design of this garment is punctuated by silhouetted images of the 10 drivers competing for the NASCAR Nextel Cup Championship with the stylized car numbers underneath each respective image.

  • Wincraft Nextel Cup Chase For The Cup Flag: Nobody has a more diverse line of NASCAR product than Wincraft. The longtime NASCAR licensee is offering, among other things, a beautiful 3' X 5' flag made of durable three-thread polyester with D-rings for easy hanging. The flag is designed with long lasting color-fast die and proudly displays all of the appropriate signage.
