For the fourth straight season, Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be promoting Major League Baseball via a special paint scheme. Already a five-time winner this season and a solid Chase For The NextelCup contender, Earnhardt Jr. will be touting baseball's Holy Grail, the World Series, in the Subway 500 at Martinsville (VA) Speedway on October 24. This will be Earnhardt Jr.'s first World Series promotion. All three of Junior's previous MLB programs have publicized the mid-season All-Star Game. One of his most famous color schemes was the 2001 MLB All-Star paint job that he drove to victory in the Pepsi 400 at Daytona the same year of his father's death. "I really like these MLB promotions," said Earnhardt Jr. "We've been doing them for several years now, which means that it's working for Budweiser, it's working for MLB, and it's working for DEI. We don't do a lot of special paint schemes, so this is something the fans enjoy each season." | | SUPERSTORE | |
