Four-time NASCAR champion Jeff Gordon will make his landmark 400th career start in NASCAR's premier division when he takes the green flag for the final running of Darlington's historic Southern 500, a race Gordon has won a record-tying five times.

Of course, Gordon's stellar creer has been well-documented. In addition to his championships, he has posted nearly 70 wins and won more money than a show dog could jump across.

Perhaps more importantly, Gordon paved the way for drivers from diverse backgrounds and different parts of the country to enter a sport once dominated by southerners who came in via the late model stock car route.

To commemorate this career milestone, Action Performance has created a Jeff Gordon 400th Start Chevrolet Monte Carlo collectible die-cast car. This fantasy car will not be raced, but it's a neat-looking piece and a must-have for any Gordon fan.

D.W. put the Thunder in Thunder Valley

"Follow me in Tennessee..." That was a catchy phrase coined by three-time champion Darrell Waltrip back in the 1980s. In those days, Ol' DW was darn near invincible at both Bristol Motor Speedway and Nashville International Raceway.

He won a record-tying seven races at Nashville before it was dropped from the schedule in 1984. But Waltrip was especially dominant at Bristol, were he still holds the record for most victories: an even dozen.

Waltrip is clearly "King of Bristol." To celebrate his many crowning achievements at the car-killing .533 mile speedway, Action has created a No. 17 Darrell Waltrip King of Bristol Chevrolet fantasy die-cast car.

An image of DW graces the hood, while his Bristol highlights are listed on the roof and deck lid.
