Driver mirrors add new twist to JEBCO line

About once a year, somebody introduces a new collectible so cool that all you can do is look at it and say, "Wow!"

This time around the nod goes to John Cole and the folks at JEBCO Clocks for the newly-introduced Reflection Collection. This beautiful ensemble of mirrored plaques is arguably the best new collectible of 2004.

"We're very proud of what we've been able to create with the Reflection Collection," said Cole, president of JEBCO. "The NASCAR fan is always looking for something new and different, and we're always looking at ways to provide that. The intent with the Reflection Collection was a new collectible with a distinctively classic look, and I think we accomplished that."

Each limited edition, sequentially-numbered 23 by 11 inch plaque displays a mirrored reflective image of the featured driver's car as well as his replica autograph. A patented Jebcote finish adds luster and protection to every piece.

And don't be misled by the term "mirror." This isn't an optical mirror like the one hanging on your bathroom wall. Each plaque in the Reflection Collection is a work of art that you have to see to believe. Photos don't do this series justice.

"That's what we've heard from a lot of people, that it's art," said Cole. "Some of our customers have commented that the image is almost three-dimensional. It took a lot of effort to be able attain the look that the Reflection Collection has. The technology we use is not anything like what is used to decorate any mirror being made today."

Drivers currently available in JEBCO's Reflection Collection are NASCAR's Dale Earnhardt, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart, as well as NHRA stars John Force and Brandon Bernstein. Look for more drivers to be added in the near future.

In addition to the Reflection Collection, JEBCO has also expanded its product line to include a new Desk Clock series. Desk Clocks measure 11 by 5 inch and can be set on your desk or tabletop. Each timepiece is pre-drilled for those who prefer hanging. All are on solid black, brilliantly highlighted and protected a Jebcote finish.

"The Desk Clock Series was developed purely based on requests from customers," Cole explained. "We had both licensors and collectors request them, so we designed something that can be used as a free-standing piece on a desk, or can be hung on a wall. It's a great looking clock."

The first wave of JEBCO Desk Clocks include Dale Earnhardt, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and NHRA Funny Car icon John Force. Again, more drivers will be added at a later date.

JEBCO made its debut on to the NASCAR collectibles scene a dozen years ago and quickly established itself as the benchmark of collector-grade racing clocks.
