ActionMcFarlane continues to dominate the NASCAR action figure market with the recent release of Series 3 in its line of driver replicas. The company has released two versions for each driver featured: a specialty edition for the collector market, and a retail version for mass market. Specialty editions are punctuated by a winner's circle-style base and backdrop, while mass market versions come with a pit wall-style base.

Drivers included in the latest production run are:

  • Dale Earnhardt Jr.: What would a ActionMcFarlane series be without the sport's most popular superstar?

  • Dale Jarrett: Former Cup Series champ is featured in an ActionMcFarlane figure for the first time. The mass market version features his standard UPS uniform, while the specialty edition showcases the Arnold Palmer promotion.
  • Darrell Waltrip: The legendary DW is another newcomer to the product line. He's shown in his Three Stooges uniform.
  • Jamie McMurray: The popular McMurray is another making his first appearance in the series.
  • Kevin Harvick: And the trend continues with the first Harvick figure. Different uniform styles are used in the retail and collector versions.
  • Tony Stewart: This will be Stewart's third ActionMcFarlane figure; his first since the Series 1 Refresh. Different uniform styles are used in the retail and collector versions.
  • John Force (NHRA): Fittingly, John Force is the first quarter-mile warrior to join the ActionMcFarlane ranks.
  • Gordon to launch 12-inch figure series

ActionMcFarlane's much anticipated 12-inch NASCAR driver figure series launches in December with Jeff Gordon as the debut driver. This handsome collectible features Gordon in his trademark victory stance with arm raised triumphantly in the air.

Specialty and retail versions will be offered. The open market variation depicts Gordon in his DuPont uniform, while he's wearing his Pepsi firesuit in the specialty edition.

    Series 4 due in February

Just in time for Daytona, ActionMcFarlane will introduce NASCAR Driver Series 4 as it's racing-themed offering of 2005. Again, collector and open market editions will be released. Here's a sneak peek at what's coming in less than three months:

  • Kasey Kahne: Kahne's first ActionMcFarlane action figure will hit the market in February.

  • Elliott Sadler: This budding superstar will also join the line-up next year. Different uniform styles are used in the retail and collector versions.
  • Jeff Gordon: An ActionMcFarlane favorite, Gordon makes his fifth appearance in the series.
  • Dale Earnhardt Jr.: Like Gordon, Junior continues his string of being in every release thus far. The newest version shows him hoisting the 2004 Daytona 500 trophy.
  • Jimmie Johnson: The second JJ figure will appear in Series 4's mass market line.
  • Rusty Wallace: Rusty kicks off his "Last Call" with his third ActionMcFarlane figure. Different uniform styles are used in the retail and collector versions.
  • Ryan Newman: The Rocket was one of the six driver's showcased in the inaugural Series 1. He'll be back for a third appearance.
