So you thought you'd have to wait a few weeks-or even months-to start ordering Kurt Busch Nextel Cup championship merchandise. Folks, if you're waiting on us, you're darn near backin' up. | | SUPERSTORE | |

The NASCAR.COM SuperStore is already offering more than three dozen different commemorative collectibles-with more on the way. Look for a detailed feature on Kurt Busch championship merchandise -- and what impact the championship will have on his collectibility -- in the near future. But for now, here's a quick synopsis of what's available at our on-line mall. Around a half dozen Kurt Busch Nextel Cup champion T-shirts are already on the market from three of the industries top manufacturers: Chase Authentics, Checkered Flag Sports, and Team Caliber. Chase and CFS have also introduced several distinctive cap designs, while Team Caliber's portfolio includes a handsome twill jacket. All of these garments display the official NASCAR Nextel Cup champion logo, in addition to Busch's name and car number. A replica signature and car imagery are included on many items. With Busch being a Roush Racing driver and Roush owning Team Caliber, you just had to know there'd be an awesome die-cast program to celebrate this landmark championship. The NASCAR.com SuperStore has added eight different Team Caliber championship commemorative die-casts to its catalog. Both 1:64 and 1:24 scales are offered, and each car prominently displays the NASCAR Nextel Cup championship logo on the deck lid.. The brand's PitStop, Preferred, and Owner's series are all showcased, as are Busch's two primary sponsors, Sharpie and Irwin Tools. Perhaps the most unique pieces will be nickel-plated replicas of both the Irwin and Sharpie cars. These Owner's Series die-casts are designed with a nickel finish in addition to the tampo-printed graphics and high quality paint. The different types of Kurt Busch Championship merchandise that will be available during the coming year pretty much runs the gamut. JEBCO Clocks, for instance, has already released a commemorative wooden wall clock, as well as a mirrored plaque from the company's Reflection Collection. Wincraft -- which offers the most diverse product line of any NASCAR licensee -- has released a framed wall clock of its own. Other championship items from Wincraft include a decal pack-and you can be sure the company will have plenty of other items to follow. If that isn't enough to jumpstart your Kurt Busch collection, Xpres is offering a mug, as well as a stein and shot glass set. And any loyal fan of the No. 97 will want the new 3' X 5' championship flag from BSI flying high on race day. |
