The Fifth Annual Sam Bass Gallery Holiday Open House is just around the corner. This year's fanfest is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 11, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Sam Bass Gallery on the corner of Morehead Rd. and Performance Dr. in Concord, N.C. That's within sight of Turn 2 of Lowe's Motor Speedway. Many of the Bass' latest creations will be showcased, including the 2004 Happy Holidays die-cast car and this year's holiday print, entitled "Ready To Jingle!" Also available will be Sam's new book, "The NASCAR Art of Sam Bass," along with a new line of tapestry throws adorned with his artwork. Limited edition prints, fine art posters, original artworks, and a broad selection gift items are guaranteed to fill the void on any Christmas list. Santa Claus is coming to town-and he's making Sam Bass Gallery his first stop. That jolly old elf will be at the Open House spreading good cheer as only he can. And to ensure that others less fortunate have a Merry Christmas as well, photos with Santa Claus will be available for only $5, with proceeds benefiting Cooperative Christian Ministries. Admission to the Fifth Annual Sam Bass Gallery Open House is absolutely free. However, Bass encourages visitors to bring at least one non-perishable food item to help re-stock the CCM food pantry. Each family donating food will receive a gift and the priceless feeling of knowing they helped someone in need. Numerous plant closings in the area have created a hardship for many. Last year, Sam Bass Gallery collected more than 1,200 pounds of food for the needy. For more information, call (704) 455-6915 or visit Sam Bass Gallery on the web at www.sambass.com. Remember, if you can't make it to the Open House in person but you'd still like to shop for Sam Bass artwork, the NASCAR.COM Superstore has plenty of Sam Bass illustrations in stock. You'll find dozens and dozens of posters and prints and Bass' new book. |
