Jenna Bush Wins Best Legs Competition; Hilary and Haylie Duff, Cris Judd and Yoanna House Serve as Judges at Gillette Venus Divine ``Legs of a Goddess'' Contest in New York

NEW YORK, Jul 28, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE)

Singers and actresses Hilary and Haylie Duff hosted the Gillette Venus Divine "Legs of a Goddess" contest in New York's Times Square today, part of a nationwide search to find the woman with the best legs in America. Choreographer and actor Cris Judd, and model Yoanna House joined the superstar sisters to judge the contest, which celebrates the new Venus Divine razor for women.

Jenna Bush, 18, of New York City was named the winner in the New York competition. Bush moved to New York from Jacksonville, Florida three days ago to try and break into the modeling industry. A friend's mother picked up a flyer announcing the competition while sight-seeing in Times Square and encouraged Bush to enter. Never expecting to win, Bush beat out nearly 60 women, all of whom took to the runway to "strike a pose" for the Duff sisters, Judd and House. The celebrity judges were looking for women with shapely and toned legs, and a confident and enthusiastic attitude.

"We're thrilled to work with Hilary and Haylie Duff to bring the 'Legs of a Goddess' contest to New York, home to women with some of the most beautiful legs in the country," said Nancy Teumer, Business Director, Women's Shaving, The Gillette Company. "The contest, now in its second year, helps women reveal their inner and outer beauty, and feel like a goddess ... just like they do when they use Venus Divine."

Women competed for cash and a Venus Divine prize package, plus the chance to become the national, grand prize winner. The national winner of the "Legs of a Goddess" contest will receive a "Goddess Giveaway" valued at $30,000, which includes: a Venus Divine-inspired sapphire and diamond necklace from premier jewelry designer M&J Savitt, a "Goddess Getaway" for the winner and three friends to a tropical resort, and the chance to appear in a Gillette Venus commercial.

Gillette Venus Divine "Legs of a Goddess" contests are taking place in 10 additional cities throughout the summer, including: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Dallas, Denver, Philadelphia, Chicago, Tampa, Miami and Boston.

In each local event, one winner is selected to advance to the final selection for the grand prize. An additional finalist will be selected from mail-in entries. Women can enter by picking up a form at the "Destination Venus Divine Station," which is touring the country this summer or by printing out an entry form at www.gillettevenus.com. The Web site also features "Legs of a Goddess" and "Destination Venus Divine Station" venues and cities, as well as footage from the New York City event with Hilary and Haylie Duff (available on August 2).
