LAS VEGAS -- NASCAR has competed at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for only seven years, with its premier Nextel Cup Series racing at the facility on the east side of town since 1998.

Defending Cup champion Matt Kenseth won the 2003 UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 at Vegas, is the series' most recent winner two weeks ago at Rockingham and in the process became the current leader in the ongoing streak of weeks in the top-10 in the Cup standings, at 37.

In addition to Kenseth, Roush Racing and its drivers hold a number of statistical marks at LVMS.

1 -- The number of Las Vegas Cup races that have been won from starting positions inside the top 10.
