LONG POND, Pa. -- Pocono Raceway, the three-cornered uniquely banked speedway in the Eastern Pennsylvania vacation country, has a 30-year legacy of competition.

Defending race winner Ryan Newman is in prime position to defend his 2003 Pennsylvania 500 title and establish Pocono's latest statistical mark.
