DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Martin Truex Jr. didn't waste time making a splash as a full-time driver for Chance 2 Motorsports.
He turned a lap of 181.138 mph to take the Bud Pole for Saturday's Hershey's Kisses 300 at Daytona International Speedway. It is the second Daytona pole in a row for the team -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. took the Bud Pole for the Winn-Dixie 250 here last July.
Ron Hornaday will join Truex on the front row.
