Kenseth uses perfect timing to win O'Reilly 300

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Matt Kenseth picked the perfect time to pass Bobby Hamilton Jr.

As Kenseth was completing his pass for the lead heading into Turn 3 on lap 195 of Saturday's Busch Series O'Reilly 300, the red flag came out when Kasey Kahne and Tracy Hines collided on the front stretch.

That set up a four-lap shootout to the finish.

Kenseth quickly pulled away from Hamilton Jr., who was passed by both Kyle Busch and Robby Gordonon the restart. Hamilton Jr. ended up sixth, behind Johnny Benson and Jason Leffler.

On the white flag lap, the caution came out for the final time for Clint Bowyer's stalled car, as Kenseth's No. 17 Ford rolled under the finish line.
