NAZARETH, Pa. -- Jason Keller will have one last time to break his tie with driver Tim Fedewa for the most top-10 finishes at Nazareth Speedway. When Keller rolls off the starting grid for the Goulds Pumps ITT Industries 200 on Sunday, it will mark his 11th career start at this track. In 2002, he won this event and in 2003 made his 300th career start there. Keller has three top-five finishes in his last four starts at Nazareth. His average finish at this track is eighth and his average starting spot is ninth. Keller and his ppc Racing team will look to continue their momentum coming off two consecutive top-five finishes.
"It's unfortunate that we won't be coming back to Nazareth next year. They just haven't been able to draw a big enough crowd here; which is unfortunate for me because I always perform well at this track. I would love to see it stay on the schedule but NASCAR needs to make decisions like this to make the sport better for everyone."
"I was looking forward to racing at these flatter tracks and learning how to adapt to the tire better. These last two races have been a big step for us; Wes and I are starting to communicate better and the guys on pit road have really made a big difference. I was hoping that when we traveled to these three flat tracks where I've had good finishes in the past; that we would gain a lot of momentum that we could carry on to places like Dover and Charlotte. These top-five finishes have really helped us to build our confidence in races and on pit road."
"We had a solid performance at Richmond. The guys really stepped up on pit road. I think at one point I came down pit road in 12th place and came out on the race track in 6th. The communications getting better, but at these tracks where it's so hard to pass, the pit road guys are making all the difference."
