NAZARETH, Pa. -- Kyle Busch easily scored the Busch pole for the final Busch race at Nazareth Speedway, running a lap of 131.167 to beat Regan Smith, who was subbing for Kasey Kahne.

The top starting spot is Busch's fourth of the season and second in a row. Busch is also the points leader, having taken over the top spot with a win last week in Richmond.

Smith, subbing for Kahne in the No. 38 Dodge, ran a lap of 130.785 to score his best-ever starting spot in the Busch Series.

Shane Hmeil was a season-best third, and Jason Keller was fourth.

Jeff Purvis, making his return to the Busch Series, qualified 26th.

Only 43 starters showed up for Sunday's Goulds Pumps 200 at the .946 mile track.
