Truex clinches Busch Series championship

DARLINGTON, S.C. -- Jamie McMurray won the Busch Series event for the second straight week, but the story of the day was Martin Truex Jr., who clinched the Busch title.

Truex Jr. had a fourth-place finish, but Kyle Busch crashed twice during the race, allowing Truex to build an insurmountable lead heading into the season finale at Homestead.

Strangely, McMurray won for the second straight week despite driving for a different team. This week, he won for Rusty Wallace Inc., which had not yet visited Victory Lane in 2004.
