Hendrick Marrow Program gets boost from wristbands

To show their support for the Hendrick Motorsports family and those affected by the recent tragedy, NASCAR officials and team members will be wearing a Hendrick Marrow Program wristband during the Atlanta race weekend. The blue wristband has the inscription "LIFE IS A TEAM SPORT."

Plans are being made to make the bracelets available for fans on NASCAR.COM. All proceeds from sales of the wristbands help the Hendrick Marrow Program which supports those diagnosed with leukemia or one of 70 other life-threatening blood diseases.
