NASCAR.COM's Marty Smith says NASCAR chief official David Hoots had plenty to say in the pre-race drivers' meeting at Darlington Raceway.

The teams were advised to race the track because of the changes the new SAFER barriers have made to the track.

Hoots also announced that NASCAR is planning to throw a competition caution flag on Lap 40. Hoots said the yellow will be thrown to allow teams to adjust to the changing weather conditions this morning at Darlington.
