NASCAR.COM's Dave Rodman says rain was the big story of the pre-race drivers' meeting. Questions asked included inquires about pit-road entrance rules and competition cautions. Also, race director David Hoots was honored before his 500th race in the control tower.
Rodman also reports that three fans were injured before the race after being struck by lightning.
